With Martin Le Chevallier, artist

Following a workshop on July 30, Martin Le Chevallier proposes to collectively reactivate certain actions during a walk through the city of Dieppe. If you would like to take part in this collective walk, please contact us for all the information concerning rehearsals and the schedule.

Martin Le Chevallier

Born in May 1968, Martin Le Chevallier is a visual artist, lecturer at the University of Rennes 2, and exhibition curator. Based on humor and derision, his works interfere with public space, the city, the economy, and the media. He has recently compiled a list of the many tactics common to art and activism (appropriation, infiltration, imposture, parody, etc.) in a book entitled Répertoire des subversions. Art, activisme, méthodes (Zones, 2024). In it, he lists, in alphabetical order, the jubilant tactics invented by artists and activists to thwart the violence of domination by imagining new forms of non-violent action.
